Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 June 2026
The basis on which you’re welcome to use The Excursion Edit. By using the site you agree to these terms.
What this site is
The Excursion Edit (“TourCrest”, “we”) is an independent comparison and information service for cruise shore excursions, operated from the United Kingdom. We are not a tour operator, travel agent, or seller of excursions. When you book, you do so on a third-party partner’s website, and your contract is with that operator or platform — not with us.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep listings, insurance and return-to-ship information, prices and travel advisories accurate, but much of it comes from third parties and can change without notice. Travel advisories are summarised from the official UK FCDO and US State Department sources and are provided as a guide only. Always confirm the current details — price, inclusions, insurance, return-to-ship policy and any travel advisory — directly with the operator and official sources before you book or travel. We give no warranty that the information is complete or error-free.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links and we may earn a commission on bookings made through them, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Acceptable use
There are no accounts to sign up for — the site is open to use, and anything you set in the Ashore in-port tools stays in your own browser. Please don’t misuse the service: for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or use it unlawfully. We may restrict access that breaches these terms.
Our content
The design, text, branding and arrangement of this site are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Excursion details and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
Liability
We provide the site “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any excursion you book with a third party. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects the mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your own country.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales — without removing any mandatory legal protection you’re entitled to as a consumer where you live.
